Captain
Harry Lewis (Captain “Big Dad” formerly of The Deadliest
Catch) had a vision for the property he owns in the Mountain
Home desert. He wanted to create an oasis.
The
definition of oasis is “a fertile or green spot in a desert
made so by the presence of water”. Fortunately, Harry has the
water, on a piece of land that lends itself to the contours of
an amphitheatre.
Harry
also found the perfect building to put on that property. Using
hundred year old heavy beams, he is erecting a “shed”.
It’s a monumental covered stage that serves as a windbreak and
the centerpiece of the Oasis Event Center. When that project is
completed, the fun will begin!

The
Oasis Event Center will also be open for rental to groups searching for
a unique and affordable facility for corporate parties and showcases.
